Join the fun at Tulalip Resort Casino’s ultimate outdoor Rock The Block “A Summer Bash!” on Saturday, July 27. Tulalip chefs will roll up their sleeves, fire up the grills and cook up some of the best grilled bites. The summer afternoon Rock The Block “A Summer Bash!” will also feature top Washington state winemakers, distilleries and breweries in the outdoor Tulalip Amphitheatre with rockin’ musicians performing on the stage.

“Are you ready for an amped up experience? Get ready to partake in some serious eats that everyone has come to expect from Tulalip’s food-loving masterminds,” enthuses Tulalip Resort Casino’s Executive Chef Perry Mascitti. “Plan to immerse yourself in our food, drink and music party adventure for a fun summer sensory celebration!”

Attendees can make their first stop at Trailer Haven to sample pours from Stella Artois, Hop Valley and Deep Eddy, or head over to Tommy’s Bunker featuring eight limited-production case lots from top Washington wineries, individually handpicked by Tulalip Resort Casino’s Sommelier Tom Thompson.

Guests can then rock the bottle with a visit to Whiskey Way to wet their whistle from 10 top-shelf whiskeys, sip their way through Tequila Trail sampling seductive tequilas or wander down Spirit Alley for a selection of vodkas and other spirits.

Is beer your drink of choice? Linger at Brews Block to taste more than 60 brewskis from renowned local and national breweries.

Make sure to visit Winemakers Square with 30 Washington wineries who will be pouring some limited selections.

If you are looking for larger portions of your favorite bites or craving a full-sized cocktail, be sure to check out the Rock The Block Food Court and the specialty bars.

Tulalip Resort Casino Sommelier Tom Thompson added, “The Tulalip team is excited to bring people together to enjoy an evening the ‘Tulalip Way!’ For our Rock The Block Summer Bash, I want to feature a varied selection of spirits, brews and wine with a focus on localized all-stars not found elsewhere. It’s going to be one show-stopping experience!”

Each of the Resort’s nine chefs (pitmasters for the day) will cook over different hardwoods such as alder, hickory and cedar to create a variety of smoky flavor sensations. Take a deep breath...can you smell the alderwood or applewood roasting in the air? And, don’t forget to vote for the top barbecue creation in between all of the summer fun!

Need a break from the libations? Make a pit stop at the Dillanos Coffee Roasters Coffee Bar for a little pick-me-up. This local coffee roaster from Sumner, WA will be offering espresso, drip coffee, cold brew and even a cold brew float made with a scoop of Snoqualmie ice cream.

Rock down on the lush green grass, play summer games, and smell the wood burning in the air while getting your breath back from all the fun.

Tickets are available at or service charge free at the Tulalip Box Office. All attendees must be 21 and over. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the local nonprofit Cocoon House that provides short and long-term housing for homeless and at-risk young people, including their children.

A special hotel rate of $209 per night is available at the AAA Four-Diamond Tulalip Resort Casino for Friday and/or Saturday night (limited availability-mention rate code Rock The Block).
